Pozdrav! Zovem se Sara (nee Pozgay) Rawlinson. U potrazi sam za svojim pretcima. Moji pra-pradjedovi su iz Hrvatske pa sam u potrazi za bilo kakvim obiteljskim vezama.
Moj pra-pradjed je Mijo Pozgaj (Mike Pozgay) iz Molvica (iz zupe Sveti Martin pod Okicem). On je rodjen 20. kolovoza 1891. godine i imao je puno brace i sestara u Hrvatskoj. Emigrirao je u SAD 1909. godine i zivio u Chicago-u, podrucju Illinois-a do svoje smrti u listopadu 1980. godine.
Moja pra-prabaka je Magdica Kufrin iz Molvica, Hrvatska. Rodena je 4. veljace 1897. godine i emigrirala u SAD 1914. godine. Udala se za Miju Pozgaja (Mike Pozgay) u Chicago-u (Illinois, SAD). Imali su troje djece: Michael, Eleanor i Stephen. Umrla je 1990. godine.
Ako znate rodjake obitelji ili imate bilo kakvu informaciju o ovoj obitelji, lijepo molim da mi se javite na e-mail. Unaprijed hvala za svaku pomoc u mojoj potrazi za obitelji u Hrvatskoj. Moj jedini interes za ove informacije je u svrhu obiteljske geneologije i ni zbog cega drugog.
Hello. My name is Sara (nee Pozgay) Rawlinson. I am searching for my family heritage. My great grandparents were from Croatia and I want to find any family relations.
My great-grandfather was Mijo Pozgaj (Mike Pozgay) from Molvice (from the Sveti Martin pod Okicem parish). He was born August 20, 1891 and had many brothers and sisters in Croatia. He emmigrated to the United States in 1909 and lived in the Chicago Illinois area until his death in November 1980.
My great-grandmother was Magdica (nee) Kufrin from Molvice, Croatia. She was born on July 4, 1897 and emmigrated to the United States in 1914. She married Mike Pozgay in Chicago Illinois USA and they had three children: Michael, Eleanor, and Stephen. She died in January 1990.

Also, I would like to apologize for not updating these pages sooner. I've been a bit busy for the last few years with moving to a different part of the world for a new job, house renovations, getting married, amongst other things... Things are finally settling down a bit for me and I hope to be more active once again.

~ Motivations ~
Some years ago, my Aunt Patty presented her husband (Uncle Jeff) with his family heritage as a birthday gift. She opened the eyes of everyone in our family to the rich history of our bloodlines. Since her passing at the end of 2003, her website was deleted on Tripod's server due to inactivity. This website is an attempt to keep the family heritage research active and to remind us all of our family ties.
As always, I'll continue to update (sometimes quickly, sometimes slowly) until there is nothing more to update. Please send me news and events and pictures and memoirs and old stories and histories and corrections and suggestions and whatever you want.
